NFF suspends 14 NPFL referees over poor officiating, as Lobi Stars stun Bayelsa United to overtake Rangers

Following allegations of substandard performance, the Referee Development Committee/Department of the Nigeria Football Federation has taken a strong stance and suspended 14 referees of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

The Head of the NFF Referee Development Committee/Department, Mr. Faith Irabor, disclosed the move in a letter addressed to the NPFL Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Davidson Owumi, delivered in Abuja on Monday. I made it.

The decision to provisionally ban these referees is due to their involvement in seven specific NPFL matches.
