New Super Eagles star targets Nations Cup and World Cup after following father’s legacy

Ghent central defender Jordan Tornaliha has expressed his joy at carrying on his father’s legacy by donning the Nigeria Super Eagles jersey, Soccernet.ng reported.

The 26-year-old defender, who made his debut for Nigeria’s national team in last week’s 3-2 win against Mozambique, described the experience as “very special”.

After previously appearing for Germany’s youth teams and representing Germany at the 2021 Olympics, Tornaliha is currently with Nigeria.
