Montpellier’s Akor Adams joins former Arsenal and Chelsea stars in Ligue 1’s Team of the Week

Montpellier striker Achor Adams was named one of the most outstanding players in French Ligue 1 at the weekend, Soccernet.ng reports.

Adams helped Montpellier to a 3-0 win away to FC Lorient on Sunday, scoring two impressive goals.

Before his outstanding performance at Stade Yves Arummat Le Moustoire, Adams had not scored in four league games.

After these two games, Adams is now Ligue 1’s second top scorer with five goals, alongside Nantes star Mostafa Mohamed. The only person who has scored more goals than the former Flying Eagles striker is his PSG striker Kylian Mbappé, who found the net seven times.
