Indian wicketkeeper and batsman KS Bharat says there is nothing fun about playing cricket and it takes a lot of effort to perform at your best with gloves on spinner-friendly surfaces in India I believe that. In the first Test against England in Hyderabad, the 30-year-old impressed everyone with his glove work.
KS Bharat got a chance to play in the first Test against England in Hyderabad as the Indian team was looking for a top-class spinner as well as a specialist wicketkeeper. He proved his worth with some great takes throughout the match.
Talking to the media ahead of the second Test, KS Bharat stressed that cricket at the highest level requires a lot of hard work. He prefers to focus on the present rather than the future and plays sweeps and reverses in Test cricket. He believes that playing sweeps makes it difficult to keep wickets.
“There is nothing better than comfort when playing sports. Never assume you are comfortable. The most important thing is to be present. Always be ready. There is no such thing as a complacent mindset. I like to keep it simple. ”
“Behind the tree stump is interesting. As a wicketkeeper, it’s fun for the batsmen to play reverse sweeps and sweeps because it keeps them in the game. I’m happy when I get a catch.
