Jos Buttler Smashes Glorious Straight Six To Bring Up Return-To-Form Half-Century

Watch: Jos Buttler reached his first ODI fifty in 14 innings with a glorious hit down the ground during England’s win over the West Indies in the second ODI at Antigua on December 6.

England’s poor performance at the 2023 World Cup has put a question mark over captain Buttler’s future role. The pressure increased due to Butler’s bat performance. Needed 15 more deliveries to reach 26th ODI fifty, six consecutive from Oshain Thomas to reach the milestone. The innings also took him to 5,000 ODI runs, making him the fifth English player to reach this milestone in this format.

England won by six wickets, leveling the ODI series at three matches.
