Jasprit Bumrah leaves for Mumbai, set to miss game against Nepal

Jasprit Bamla has returned to Mumbai for personal reasons and will not play in India’s next match against Nepal on September 4. Dainik Jaglan said the pacemaker is in good health and is likely to return to the Super 4 stage of the 2023 Asian Cup.

He recently returned to cricket after a year following back surgery. The Pacer led India to a third straight T2OI series match against Ireland, with the visitors’ side winning 2-0 after the game was called off due to rain.

Men in Blue need Bumla for the 2023 ICC World Championships in India. The Indian Express has confirmed that Bumra will be part of his 15-man squad for the World Tournament.

Jasprit has been a sensation for India in his career so far. They didn’t get a chance to bowl in their opening Continental Cup match against Pakistan because the tournament was canceled after India’s innings due to persistent rain in Kandy.
