Rishabh Pant fully fit for IPL 2024

Pant had suffered a near-fatal car crash around 14 months back, following which he has not played a competitive game of cricket at a recognised level.

In a press release today (March 12), BCCI mentioned that “after undergoing an extensive 14-month rehab and recovery process, Pant has now been declared fit as a wicketkeeper-batter for the upcoming TATA IPL 2024.”

Yesterday (March 11), the BCCI secretary Jay Shah had hinted at the return of Pant and said that they would declare him fit soon. BCCI’s announcement today has come as a welcome surprise to Pant’s fans and well-wishers around the globe.
