India must dismiss Babar Azam early to silence Pakistan

Former South African cricketer AB De Villiers has expressed his admiration for Pakistani captain Babar Azam. Known for his extraordinary career as a cricketer, de Villiers stressed the importance of getting Babar Azam out early if India is to silence Pakistan.

De Villiers hailed Babar Azam as one of the best players to have played in the match. According to de Villiers, Babar Azam will act as a linchpin to hold the team together and bring stability to the middle class. To thwart Pakistani ambitions, India must target this key figure.

“It’s fun to talk about Babar Azam because he’s one of the best players we’ve seen in this game, not just now.” He’s a powerful rock in the Pakistani batting lineup. If India wants to silence Pakistan, it should release him soon. He added that he was “coordinating the batting force and acting as a liaison for Pakistan’s middle class.”

De Villiers continued to praise Babar Azam’s incredible versatility beyond cricket formats. He acknowledged that the Pakistani captain will play an important role with the bat to succeed.

“When I first met him (Babar) when he was a little boy, I soon realized that this man was going to stay here. He’s a great player and Pakistan needs him to give his best in the Asian Cup and more importantly the World Cup,” he concluded.
