India beat Nepal to qualify for Super-4 stage of Asia Cup 2023

India beat Nepal by 10 wickets to secure qualification to the Super 4 stage of the 2023 Asian Cup. Men in Blue easily achieved their revised target of 145 wickets.

Nepal were eliminated by 230 runs from 48.2 overs as Asif Sheikh (58) and Sompal Kami (48) scored valuable runs.

However, rain caused a long delay and another goal was scored at 23 overs. Captains Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill beat the ’50s and led their team to victory in the much-anticipated contest.

In India, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohamed Siraj took three wickets each.
