“Eoin is entitled to his opinion. Apparently he has been away for a few weeks to give birth. He has not been in or around the room, but I’ll sit down with him and talk about it. We have a really good relationship with him. So if he sees something that I don’t see, I’ll definitely have that conversation.” Mott said.
Four years have passed since the reigning champions won their first 50-over World Cup. However, they face an embarrassing exit from the group stage. Out of the last six matches, he has lost five and against Bangladesh he has won only once.

Matthew Mott said the team remained united despite a tough performance in the ODI World Cup. He said the players support each other during the matches and are working hard to stay in the tournament.
“When you lose, you always have the chance to break up and go your separate ways. All I can say in my opinion is that the group was incredibly strong in this part. If you look at the training, it’s a lot of fun.
“People put their arms around each other and try to help.” This is easy when you win, but harder when you lose. I’m proud that we continue to push ourselves even further,” added Mott.
To participate in theChampions Trophy, the reigning champions must finish within the top eight after the World Cup league matches. England have never won the Champions Trophy before and would be very disappointed if they lost in this competition.
