Ijuk, 25, is currently on loan from his parent club CSKA Moscow to Belgian club Royal Antwerp. The winger has scored three goals in 13 games this season.
The young Ijuku reached European soil for the first time at the young age of 17, with Manchester City, Liverpool and Norwegian side Valerenga showing interest in the former Gombe United player.

However,I wasn’t good enough and had to start all over again. It was very difficult because I don’t get opportunities like this very often. I felt like I let my family down. I did it,” the 25-year-old said in words revealed in the report.
Ijuku is currently traveling extensively across Europe and believes Liverpool’s bankruptcy helped him when he finally made his big move there in 2017.
“But it’s okay, that’s life. For the love of the game, get up and start. And that experience will be good for me when I am able to go back to Europe two years later. ” explained Ijuku.
