Jay Jay Okocha, who played in six leagues during his playing days, reveals his two favorite leagues

Super Eagles legend Austin Jay Jay Okocha has shared insights about his favorite football league throughout his illustrious career, reports Soccernet.ng.

Okocha, who recently celebrated his 50th birthday, enjoyed a glittering career in various European leagues including the Bundesliga, Super Lig, Ligue 1, Premier League, EFL Championship and Qatar Stars League before retiring in 2008. I have piled up.

In a recent statement quoted by Livescores, the former Nigeria international revealed that he was most comfortable in Germany and England.

However, it is noteworthy that Okocha recently criticized the management of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) during an event in Kenya.

“The German league is a little more complete. They play good football and score a lot of goals.

During his career, Okocha played for clubs such as Borussia VfB Neunkirchen and Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany, and Bolton Wanderers and Hull City in England.

He said that these leagues made him feel at home and contributed greatly to his career success.

He added: “I felt comfortable in both leagues, but I think the Bundesliga gave me the experience I needed as a young player to understand what it takes to become a true professional.”< /em> em>
