The match, which is the last AFCON qualifier for 2023, is scheduled to be held at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
Nigeria have already qualified for AFCON 2024 but are aiming to finish first in Group A. Jose Peceiro’s side currently lead the group with 12 points, two points clear of second-placed Guinea-Bissau.
AC Milan winger Chukwueze has revealed in a speech in Uyo that he believes his energetic performance during the practice session will secure victory for the 2013 AFCON champions in Uyo .
“It’s always a great feeling to be on the Eagles team. The atmosphere in camp is great and every player is ready for the game. It’s been a while since I’ve seen the players compete in practice. It feels great.”
Regarding the match, the AC Milan winger said: “We intend to win. Even though we have qualified for the African Cup of Nations, it is very important to win the game.”
