Tennis on TV Next Week: How to watch ATP Barcelona, WTA Stuttgart & much more!

The clay season continues on next week, with five events on the main tours including ATP Barcelona and the WTA tournament in Stuttgart.

And we, at Tennishead, have all the information on how you can watch the likes of Rafael Nadal, Iga Swiatek and Aryna Sabalenka:

How can you watch ATP Barcelona?

Rafael Nadal has only played three matches since the 2023 Australian Open, but is gearing up to return to action next week in Barcelona.

The Spaniard has won a record 12 singles titles at the 71-year-old tournament, with his most recent coming back in 2021, and is set to play Flavio Cobolli in the first round.

Nadal was set to be joined by two-time defending champion Carlos Alcaraz, but the world No.3 has withdrawn due the same right arm injury that forced him to pull out of the Monte Carlo Masters.

This has left Andrey Rublev as the highest ranked player remaining, alongside Casper Ruud, Alex de Minaur and two-time finalist Stefanos Tsitsipas.

You can watch the Barcelona Open on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom and Ireland, or on Tennis TV worldwide.

How can you watch WTA Stuttgart?

The iconic WTA tournament in Stuttgart is back and stacked as always, with eight of the world’s top 10 ranked players featuring.

Iga Swiatek has claimed victory the past two years over Aryna Sabalenka in the final, who also lost the 2021 showpiece match to Ash Barty, with both players returning in 2024.

The only other former champion in the field is two-time winner Angelique Kerber, who will take on fellow wildcard Emma Raducanu in the first round.

Not only are the standard ranking points and prize money on offer for players, but the winner will also receive a tournament sponsored Porsche car.

This year it is the Porsche Taycan Turbo S Sport Turismo, which will be sat on the side of the court throughout the entire week.

You can watch the Stuttgart Open on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom and Ireland, or on Tennis Channel in the United States of America.

The men’s tournament in Munich was first held back in 1899, and has most recently seen Holger Rune as the champion in both 2022 and 2023.

In both finals that Rune won, the Dane beat Botic van de Zandschulp and both players will be hoping to return to the Munich final once again next week.

Alexander Zverev is the top seed in Munich, with the German claiming the title at the ATP 250 event back in 2017 and 2018.

The only other former champion in the singles field is Cristian Garin, who won the title four years ago.

You can watch the Bavarian International Tennis Championships on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom and Ireland, or on Tennis TV worldwide.

Former Roland Garros finalist Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova is the top seed, alongside Caroline Garcia, Anhelina Kalinina and Yue Yuan.

Perhaps the biggest name in the draw is former world No.1 Naomi Osaka, who has been awarded a wildcard for her first clay court tournament since May 2022.

The four-time Grand Slam champion has flown straight in from her Billie Jean King Cup tie in Tokyo, and will play 2022 Roland Garros semi-finalist Martina Trevisan in the first round.

You can watch the Open de Rouen on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom and Ireland, or on Tennis Channel in the United States of America.

Although not a new tournament, the ATP event in Bucharest features on the main tour for the first time since 2016.

For the events return, world No.22 Francisco Cerundolo is the top seed and will receive an automatic bye to the second round alongside Tallon Griekspoor, Sebastian Korda and Alejandro Tabilo.

Tiriac Open - Instagram 2024

There are no former champions returning to the Romanian capital, but 2016 runner-up Lucas Pouille has advanced to the final qualifying round.

Wildcards have been awarded to Denis Shapovalov, Richard Gasquet and Brazilian teenage sensation Joao Fonseca.

You can watch the Romanian Open on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom and Ireland, or on Tennis TV worldwide.
