Former India spinner Laxman Sivaramakrishnan has expressed concern over Ashwin’s behavior ahead of the ODI World Cup in India. Sivaramakrishan said Ashwin himself called Siva for advice after he was trolled on social media for asking him to change his bowling behavior.

“This photo went viral on SM. If you zoom in on the image, you can see that his non-bowling arms and torso are open towards the offside. If you look, you can see that his lower body is closed. This causes a loss of synchronization. Ash needs to fix this immediately to be more effective,” Sivaramakrishnan posted.
Sivaramakrishnan was criticized by fans for suggesting technical changes to Ravichandran Ashwin. Many fans were harsh towards him, leading to heated arguments between the cricketer-turned-commentator and some fans. Sivaramakrishnan said during the discussion he even criticized Ashwin’s performance in SENA.
While many criticized Siva for his critical opinions, the former India star took to social media to discuss his technical flaws in Ravichandran Ashwin‘s bowling. He revealed that he had called Shiva. Ashwin also clarified that those who mock Shiva have nothing to do with him.
