Former England cricketer Owais Shah considered young Indian batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal to be the most threatening batsman in India’s current batting order. Shubman Gill looked in good form but could not capitalize and was dismissed by James Anderson. He left after scoring 34 runs and contributing 49 runs with Jaiswal for the second wicket. On the first day, the left-handed batsman was a solid batsman in the first innings while other Indian batsmen batted around him.
