Former Indian player Gautam Gambir has selected his Indian team to compete in the 2023 ICC World Cup, but several decisions have been challenged.
Shreyas Ayer and Shadur Thakur have been dropped from the squad, with all-rounder Washington Thunder and pacesetter Prashid Krishna joining the squad.
The six specialist hitters are Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav.
Gambir chose Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Hardik Pandya and Washington Thunder as his all-rounders. Kuldeep Yadav was the third spinner.
The four crew members are Jasprit Bumrah, Mohamed Siraj, Prashid Krishna, and Mohammed Shammi.
