West Indies will host England for an ODI series starting from December 3. Here’s everything about the schedule, including the full fixtures list and the timings of the WI vs ENG ODIs.
England will look to make up for their disastrous defeat at the 2023 World Cup by playing a three-match ODI away series against West Indies, followed by five T20Is. They will be eager to get back on track after leaving the tournament with five losses in six games.
Meanwhile, West Indies failed to qualify for the recently concluded World Cup for the first time. This meant that this clash gave West Indies a chance to regain some pride.
The last time both teams met in an ODI series was in 2019 as a prelude to the 2019 World Cup. His hard-fought five-game series ended in a 2-2 tie.
The first two matches will be held at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua on December 3 and 6, followed by the third ODI at Kensington Oval in Barbados on December 9.
England have made significant changes to their World Cup squad. Jos Buttler, Harry Brook, Brydon Kearse, Gus Atkinson, Liam Livingstone and Sam Curran are the only survivors of the group selected for the World Cup in India.
