F1 team has ruled out filing a complaint with the FIA over the dispute, supporting Mercedes and Susie Wolff
Red Bull (Christian Horner on Sky News): “We have a big rivalry [with Mercedes] on track, but we have no official complaints about Susie, Toto or Mercedes. No.” FIA. In fact, Red Bull has been the team that has contributed the most to the F1 Academy since its inception, and will field three cars from two Red Bull-owned teams in 2024. So we worked closely with Susie, who has done a fantastic job with the F1 Academy. So I think we and others were quite surprised by the statement that came out last night, but it certainly wasn’t instigated or requested or caused by Red Bull. We have not lodged any formal complaints or made any inquiries with the FIA or FOM. As for other teams, I can’t speak for anyone else. This is an FIA issue and they took this action, but like I said, it certainly has nothing to do with Red Bull. ”
