Napoli releases a video mocking the Super Eagles striker, causing a lot of reaction
Former Super Eagles manager Sunday Oliseh has advised him to leave Napoli after a video of him trolling Victor Osimhen after he missed a penalty was posted on the club’s TikTok account. Soccer reported.
Osimhen missed a penalty in the goalless draw between Napoli and Bologna on Sunday. Following his mistake, the club posted a video on their TikTok account trolling the Nigerian striker. The post was later deleted, but the damage had already been done.
Osimhen has deleted all Napoli-related posts from his Instagram account, including a video in which he snubs a team-mate on his way to the club’s ground.
However, he played for the club and scored a goal in Wednesday’s 4-1 win against Udinese.
Following the incident, many fans have called for Osimhen to leave the club, with former Nigerian manager Oliseh echoing the same sentiment. He advised Osimhen to leave the club immediately.
“Forever proud to be a Nigerian. You must show character, work hard and be fearless” Oliseh wrote on Twitter.
