Former Germany national team striker Nils Petersen has praised the duo of Stuttgart’s Selhaw Gilasy and Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface, Soccernet.ng reported.
With seven goals and three assists, he was the driving force behind Leverkusen’s lead in the Bundesliga and was named Bundesliga Player of the Month in August.
Ghirassy, meanwhile, won the league’s best player award in September, with the Guinean forward scoring 13 goals in just seven games.
Despite their outstanding performances, Petersen does not expect Guirassi or Boniface to finish the season as the Bundesliga’s top scorers.
In Petersen’s opinion, FC Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane is the player to watch.
