Nigerian international player increasingly influential for club and national team after successful 2023
To help Nigerians and individuals around the world, Super Falcons striker Esther Okoronkwo has launched an innovative Instagram talent show, reports Soccernet.ng.
This initiative aims to alleviate the prevailing needs in this country, providing a platform for individuals to showcase their talents, thereby fostering a sense of community and support.
Okoronkwo, who inspired Nigeria to defeat Cape Verde 7-1 on aggregate to qualify for the 2024 African Women’s Cup of Nations in Morocco, has taken her passion for empowerment beyond the soccer pitch. I am.
The weekly talent show on Instagram is open to Nigerians and individuals from all over the world with a chance to win 50,000 every Friday.
“We will be going live every Friday at 7pm GMT so people can show off their talent and potentially win 50,000 in prizes,” Okonkwo announced on her Instagram account.
The first edition of the talent show was held on Friday and Moses Olufemi emerged as the first winner with a promised prize of N50,000.
Esther encourages individuals to participate in Instagram Live sessions every Friday, so participation in this motivational talent show is inclusive. Participants can showcase their talents in singing, dancing, acting, sports, and many other categories.
Viewers and participants will participate in the comments, judge the talent featured, and foster a vibrant community around this initiative.
The Super Falcons sensation expressed his satisfaction after the successful launch, saying: “I really enjoyed tonight. I hope to see everyone again next week.”
Esther Okonkwo’s vision of empowerment goes beyond the field of football to create a platform for talent recognition and financial support for those in need.
It will be recalled that Okoronkwo was a member of the Super Falcons team that reached the knockout stages of the 2023 FIFA World Cup held in Australia and New Zealand.
The Tenerife striker has assumed increasing importance in Nigeria’s women’s national team after the former African champions helped Cape Verde (7-1 overall) qualify for Morocco 2024.
The 26-year-old attacker scored twice as Nigeria defeated the island nation 5-0 in Abuja and the Falcons won 2-1 in the second leg in Praia.
