Tim David and Kieron Pollard of the Mumbai Indians have actually been condemned of an IPL Code of Conduct breach.
During Mumbai Indians’ suit versus Punjab Kings at Mullanpur on Thursday (April 18), the television video cameras captured Tim David and batting train Kieron Pollard gesturing a “T” from the dugout in the direction of Suryakumar Yadav, that went to the fold.

The Article “may (depending upon the seriousness and context of the breach) prohibit, without limitation, the following: (a) the use of an illegal bat or illegal wicket-keeping gloves; and (b) failure to comply with the provisions of clause 6.3 of the IPL Match Playing Conditions.”
However, “the context of the particular situation, and whether it was deliberate, reckless, negligent, avoidable and/or accidental, shall be considered” for the full analysis.
“Conduct of a minor nature” certifies as a Level 1 Offence, while “conduct of an extremely serious nature” is Level 4 Offence.
“David and Pollard committed a Level 1 offence under Article 2.20 of the IPL’s Code of Conduct,” validated the launch. “David and Pollard were each fined 20 percent of their respective match fees. Both admitted to the offence and accepted the Match Referee’s sanction. For Level 1 breaches of the Code of Conduct, the Match Referee’s decision is final and binding.”
