Australian star Marnus Labuschagne pulled off a stunning diving catch to deny in-form Keirthy Carty in the third ODI against West Indies on Tuesday (February 6).
After losing the wicket of opener Kjorn Otley in the third over, Arik Athanadze and Carty cautiously tried to revive the West Indies innings before Marnus Labuschagne scored a brilliant try. . On the third ball of the 11th over, bowled by Lance Morris, Carty failed to keep his shot on the ground and paid the price.
When Morris bowled a short ball outside off the stumps, Carty controlled the ball very well with his back foot. The ball appeared to go past Marnus Labuschagne, who was at the rear point. However, the Australian star sprinted to the right and caught the ball in mid-air with both hands. This wicket was also Lance Morris’ first wicket in international cricket.
