Held on International Day of the Girl, this year aims to empower girls of all ages.
The SHE Project is a comprehensive initiative offering sports, humanitarian and educational programs.
The academy, owned by Barcelona star Femeni, continues to positively impact the lives of Nigerian girls in both sports and education, carving a niche for itself in the Nigerian football landscape.
More than 500 girls will participate in the event, which includes soccer, basketball and volleyball fundamentals, coaching sessions, life skills and education, quizzes and debates, and more.
The She Play project was organized in different schools and communities in 2022. This is her fifth project in her SHE project and the first in the second season of AOA.
Asisat Oshoala Academy offers 90 minutes of soccer training three times a week for girls (ages 12-18).
The program was complemented by life skills education that included a wide range of empowerment and rights-based topics.
Academy graduates are encouraged to use their leadership skills to positively impact their communities.
