Bangladesh Premier League 2024 has started from January 19. Here are BPL 2024 Pakistan players for all seven teams.
The much-awaited 10th season of Bangladesh Premier League, Bangladesh’s premier franchise T20 competition, will be held from January 19 to March 1, 2024. All matches will be played at the usual venues in Dhaka, Chattogram and Sylhet. The playoffs will begin in Dhaka on February 25th.
Defending champions Comilla Victorians did not have the best start as they lost their first match against Durdhant Dhaka by five wickets. With four titles under his belt, his Comilla are the most successful team in BPL history. This year, Litton Das replaced Imrul Kayes as captain. Kays led him to back-to-back titles in 2022 and his 2023.
Apart from them, six other franchises will participate in the tournament: Sylhet Strikers, Fortune Barishal, Chattogram Challengers, Rampur Riders, Sylhet Strikers and Khulna Tigers.
16 Pakistani players dominate the 7 foreign teams. While the most famous name is Babar Azam of Rangpur Riders, BPL 2024 will feature Shoaib Malik, Fakhar Zaman, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Rizwan, Saim Ayub, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammed Amir, Shoaib Malik, and more.
However, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that Naseem Shah, Ihsanullah and Mohammad Hasnain have issued NOCs to a number of senior players but are yet to receive approval. The trio recently recovered from their respective injuries.
