Awonyi had another good match at Tricky Trees, but his performance was not enough for the win
Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awonih recorded an assist for Nottingham Forest in their 1-1 draw with Burnley at the City Ground, Soccer reports.
Awonyi has gotten off to a great start this season. He scored his first three goals of the season in the fourth game against Chelsea and also recorded an assist.
After a successful international match against Nigeria, Awoniyi led the Tricky Trees team against Burnley. Nottingham Forest were favorites to win as Burnley lost their first three Premier League games.
However, they were shocked in the first half when Zeki Amdouni gave Burnley the lead in the 41st minute.
