Super Eagles legend Sunday Oliseh has expressed his disappointment with his former club Ajax Amsterdam after the recent loss to Utrecht, Soccernet.ng reported.
Olisee hinted that there is even a possibility that Ajax will be relegated to the second division of the Dutch league due to their poor performance.
“I was very disappointed to see a very disappointing first half from Ajax today. I have never seen my former club so bad. It may sound strange as it is. No, but Ajax could be relegated. Still needs to do a lot of work in all sections!!”, he wrote on X-Feed (formerly Twitter).
Ajax are historically considered to be the “big three” of the Eredivisie, along with PSV and Feyenoord. Since the league’s inception, they have been the only club to maintain their top flight status without falling into relegation.
The recent downturn in Ajax’s fortunes has raised concerns about the possibility of an unexpected development that would see these giants competing in the first division.
