AFCON 2023: CAF reveals when Super Eagles will tackle Cote d’Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau and Equatorial Guinea

Nigeria’s Super Eagles are grouped with Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast and Equatorial Guinea

Nigeria’s Super Eagles, coached by Jose Peseiro, have been placed in Group A along with tournament hosts Ivory Coast, Guinea-Bissau and Equatorial Guinea.

The much-anticipated tournament, which marks the 34th edition of the African continent’s biggest sporting event, will be held from January 13 to February 11, 2024.

The matches will be held in different cities in Ivory Coast, including Abidjan, Yamoussoukro, Bouake, San Pedro and Corrogo.

The opening match is scheduled to be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024, with hosts Ivory Coast facing Guinea-Bissau at the Ebimpé Alassane Ouattara Olympic Stadium in Abidjan.

Nigeria’s Super Eagles begin their match against Equatorial Guinea on Sunday, January 14, 2024. They will then face Ivory Coast on January 18th and Guinea-Bissau on January 22nd.

The Super Eagles performed well in the AFCON qualifiers, leading the group with 15 points and qualifying for this prestigious tournament. They hope to continue this great performance and win his fourth AFCON title.
