The ACC Men’s T20I Premier Cup will begin on April 12 in Oman: here is where you can watch the tournament, including live-streaming and TV details.
The second edition of the ACC Men’s Premier Cup will be played between April 12 and 21. Organised by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), the tournament will be played in the T20I format, unlike last year, when it was an ODI competition. 10 teams divided equally among two groups will pit against each other across 24 matches at Al Amerat Cricket Ground in Muscat, Oman.
ACC T20I Premier Cup 2024: The teams
Group A consists of Hong Kong, Malaysia, Nepal, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, while Bahrain, Cambodia, Kuwait, Oman and the United Arab Emirates constitute Group B.
The winner of the competition will seal a berth in the Asia Cup 2025 alongside the likes of India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka among others.
The losers in the semi-finals will fight for a third-place play-off to be held on April 20.
Nepal will enter the competition as the defending champions. In last year’s final, Lalit Rajbanshi’s 4-14 in 7.1 overs helped Nepal to skittle UAE for 117 before Gulshan Jha’s unbeaten 84-ball 67 powered them to a comfortable seven-wicket win with 19.3 overs to spare.
