Nigerian international crushes French champions at Parc de Princes to underline his growing influence in the game
Former Super Eagles head coach Sunday Oliseh has praised Terem Moffi after OGC Nice’s outstanding performance against Paris Saint-Germain, reports Soccernet.ng.
All the pre-match attention was on PSG striker Kylian Mbappé and the Frenchman did not disappoint. He managed to score two goals.
However, Moffi outperformed the 2018 FIFA World Cup winners, scoring twice and providing an assist as he helped OGC Nice to a memorable 3-2 away win.
The Super Eagles striker gave Nice the lead with a deft left-footed shot, before scoring his team’s second goal with some great dribbling and passing.
The 24-year-old also scored Nice’s third goal in the second half with a superb shot, but the celebration caused Mbappé to have a seizure.
However, Moffi’s performance impressed former Juventus and Ajax midfielder Oliseh.
Olise praised Tellem’s intelligence and pointed out that not many attackers in this match can achieve top-class finishes like the Super Eagles star.
Superb World class stuff from Naija’s own Terem Moffi! Very few strikers in the world today are able to do what Terem does; get the ball, point at a defender, eliminate him by dribbling, and strike at goal !! Furthermore the man strong abeg …Lol https://t.co/EFIeaglNdu
