Nigeria’s Boniface equals Haaland record, beats Kane, others to win Bundesliga Player of the Month award

Nigerian standout Victor Boniface has won the coveted Bundesliga Player of the Month award for August 2023, Soccernet.ng reports.

The Bayer Leverkusen striker beat out notable stars such as FC Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane and Wolfsburg’s Jonas Wind to win this prestigious honour.

The Bundesliga announced in a statement on Thursday that the selection process for this award involves a careful two-stage evaluation.
