The Indian Cricket Control Board has announced the squad for the upcoming 2023 ICC World Cup. There were no surprise new additions to the team. Yuzvendra Chahal and Sanju Samson were not considered for the global event.
Even players like Tilak Varma and Prashid Krishna who are in the current Asian Cup 2023 have not made it. Meanwhile, captain Rohit Sharma reacted to the absence of some players.
Rohit said he knows it’s impossible to pick everyone and it feels like it.
“Either of us will miss something, and that’s a shame.” But that’s okay. It happened to me I know that feeling,” he said.
