The BCCI have announced their annual player retainership contracts for India Senior Men for the 2023/24 season.

BCCI contracts for senior citizens in India are divided into four categories:A+, A, B, C.

As per the BCCI statement, Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan are not considered for annual contracts in this recommendation.

Previous reports suggested that the two may not be on the contract list as they missed the Ranji Trophy despite not being part of the Indian team. Ta.

Rishabh Pant, who is recovering from injuries sustained in a road accident, has been demoted from Class A to Class B, along with Axar Patel. Meanwhile, Mohammed Siraj and Shubman Gill have moved from B to A.

Additionally, Akash Deep, Vijaykumar Vyshak, Umran Malik, Yash Dayal and Vidwath Kaverappa are recommended for fast bowling contracts.

What are the criteria to be contracted?

Indian male players who meet the criteria of at least 3 Testsor8 ODIs,or10 T20Is within the specified period will be eligible for pro-rata will be awarded.

Dhruv Jhuler and Sarfaraz Khan have played two Test matches each in the ongoing India vs England series and will be added to their Grade C contracts if they feature in the Dharamsala Test.
