Watch: India U19 Quick Takes Two Wickets In First Over With Sharp Inswingers To Leave New Zealand Reeling

Watch: India Under-19 quick Raj Limbani picked up two wickets with two brilliant inswingers in the first over of India’s bowling innings against New Zealand in the U19 World Cup today (January 30).

The 18-year-old sent Tom Jones and Snehis Reddy back within five balls with a good in-swinger, leaving New Zealand in defence. Limbani received the new ball and hit the first ball to chase, sending one that came back wide from outside. Opener Jones dropped to the crease and tried to fend off the ball, but the ball zipped past him and hit the middle stumps.

After 4 balls, it was Limbani’s turn again. He sent a full ball to Reddy, who tried to flick it away. However, he could not account for the sharp inswing of the ball as it came in, and instead hit it on his pads. When the Black Caps lost their first two wickets without scoring, the commentator exclaimed, “They don’t know how to deal with Raj Limbani’s swing.”
