FIA shares details of DRS, track limits & more for Las Vegas GP

The FIA ​​has announced details for the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix including track limits, DRS zones, steward names, safety car laps and more.

Given that this is a new track on the F1 calendar, there is no room for ‘track changes’. According to his FIA race director’s notes by Niels Wittig, track boundaries are also the white lines and walls around the Las Vegas GP track.

The detection point of the first DRS zone is 10 m after curve 2, and the activation is after 20 m of curve 4. The detection point of the second zone is 710 m after curve 12, and the activation point is 820 m after the curve. 14.

The new Grand Prix FIA Stewards Panel will be chaired by Garry Connelly and supported by Loïc Baccarene, Derek Warwick and Dennis Dean. The race director also pointed out that due to location considerations, starting training from the pit exit is not allowed.
