Indian team’s fielding coach T Dilip has said that one of the biggest highlights of India’s 2023 World Cup season so far has been the wicketkeeper’s “amazing performance” after KL Rahul’s long-term absence due to injury. I feel that I have adapted very well. The Indian wicketkeeper-batsman shone with his bat and glove handling in India’s win over the Netherlands in Bengaluru.
India have the second-highest total in the World Cup with KL Rahul scoring the fastest century for the Indian team (62 balls), Shreyas Iyer’s unbeaten 128 and half-centuries from Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill A total of 410 has been reached. Virat Kohli bowled three overs in Bangalore and KL Rahul secured his maiden World Cup wicket with Virat Kohli taking a brilliant catch on the leg side.
After 9 wins from 9 matches, T Dilip said that KL Rahul has performed very well for the Indian team and is incredibly good as a wicketkeeper for the Indian team. I believe that I showed a good performance. By working on a few things, he was able to get back to his best performance in the game.
“He did a really great job as a wicketkeeper,” added T Dilip.
“When he came, he obviously had a long injury break, which was a challenging element for us. He has developed really well. A person who has been keeping wickets since he was young, we have identified several factors and worked on them, but every wicketkeeper is different. This is the person who needs a session. When we spoke to him and we thought he is such a wicket-keeper,” added T Dilip.
ODI World Cup 2023 KL Rahul once again showcased his outstanding performance of first-class wicketkeeping with the gloves and was already recovering from a hamstring injury ahead of the Asia Cup . KL Rahul in his 9 matches he won 12 catches and gloves by stumping.
I Am Sure Mohammed Siraj Has The Skillsets To Do Well In A Big Game – T Dilip

We are trying to improve our consistency. We are confident that he has the skills to perform well in big matches,” T Dilip added.
