Chael Sonnen is probably one of the worst talkers in sports. The former UFC middleweight has often attracted attention for his comments. And even though he retired a while ago, he’s still getting into trouble. And now the former UFC fighter is engaged in a war of words with Jorge Masvidal.

Masvidal, who recently retired from sports, is not well known as a public speaker. “Gamebred” used to talk about how bad he was. But even for Masvidal, the fight against the great Chael Sonnen seemed like a must-see. And now we have the most unlikely beef.

It all started when Ariel Helwani and Chel Sonnen got into an argument. A well-known MMA journalist got into a heated argument with a former UFC fighter over the Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou fight. The two talked about a variety of topics, and Helwani even asked Sonnen to apologize for his comments about Ngannou before the game.
After this happened, Masvidal joined Helwani’s MMA class. And when “Gamebred” spoke to Helwani, he called Sonnen a “bit*h” and said a few other things about him. Sonnen clearly didn’t like this. He responded to a clip of Masvidal saying, “Masvidal used to be a subordinate to a guy named Dana White, and then he became a human protector.”
Masvidal retorted. He said, “You dumbass, you probably wouldn’t say that to my face. @ChaelSonnen just keeps the same energy when he meets me.” Apparently Sonnen had a witty response: He’s not in a rural jail or homeless center or anything like that, so it’s unlikely they’ll meet. A methadone center or a seedy unlicensed barbershop.
