Osimhen’s boss Garcia risks being sacked as Napoli open talks with former Marseille coach

Napoli are not at the same level as last season and Garcia’s time at the club could be coming to an end

Napoli have started negotiations with former Marseille manager Igor Tudor as a possible replacement for Rudi García due to poor results, Soccer reported.

Napoli surprisingly parted ways with Luciano Spalletti, who helped them win their first Scudetto in 33 years last season. The Italian manager has hinted that he will take some time off, but there was also talk that he felt he was not being treated well by the club.

Nevertheless, Napoli hired Rudi Garcia as coach. However, the results were not as good as they had hoped.

The Serie A champions have only won four of their first eight Serie A matches this season. His 3-1 defeat against Fiorentina on Sunday was his second defeat of the season, having lost to Lazio before the final international break.

Coach Garcia also doesn’t seem to have a firm grip on his players, as evidenced by the abusive behavior of Osimhen, who came on as a substitute in Napoli’s goalless draw with Genoa two weeks ago.

The Serie A champions did not play the same free-flowing football they did last season.

It is clear that Garcia is walking a tightrope after Napoli’s loss to Fiorentina on Sunday. According to Tutto Napoli, Napoli have started negotiations with former Marseille manager Igor Tudor as a possible replacement.

If Napoli lose again, García could leave Napoli and Osimhen could find another manager. Tudor’s teams have always been good in attack and Osimhen could ultimately benefit from this change.
