Nigerian U-20 talent joins Rofiat Imuran and Tosin Demehin at Stade de Reims

Exciting young Nigerian striker Flourish Sabastine has officially completed his move from Stade de Reims to French side D1 Arkema, Soccernet.ng reports.

The club announced her arrival on Friday via the X (formerly Twitter) platform, saying the Nigerian player will wear the number 22, the French club colours.

At just 18 years old, Sabastin joins Bayelsa Queens, a premier team in the Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) with an impressive track record.

After successfully passing a medical examination, she signed a two-year contract with the support of agency C2E Sports Management, led by former Nigeria U20 star Dejo Olateru.

During his time with Bayelsa Queens FC, Sabastin achieved remarkable success, winning three titles in just two years. Now she is ready to strengthen the offensive line of her Stade de Reims.

Savastin’s deal comes on the heels of the club’s formal signing of Cameroon star Colette Nzana.

The signing of Sabastine, known for his attacking power, speed and outstanding dribbling skills, which he displayed at the U20 World Cup, will help strengthen Reims’ squad ahead of next season.

When discussing his transfer, Sabastin expressed his desire for personal growth and his determination to contribute to the team’s success.

β€œFor me personally, the decision to come to Reims is part of the growth logic. I want to continue to improve technically, physically and tactically,” she said.

She added: β€œI want to work together and contribute to the team’s results.”

Sabastine will be reunited at the Stade de Reims with his Falconets teammates Tosin Demehin and Rofiat Imran, who joined the club last season.
